OUR APPROACH

We are a community charitable trust for Wigan children/families and our aim is to create outstanding primary school provision for Wigan families. Part of this offer including providing parents, carers and Wigan communities with access to breakfast clubs and after school club for pupils to relax and unwind at the end of a school  day with activities of their choice with healthy food choices.

Who will look after your child in Before or After School Childcare?

All settings will maintain a level of staffing in breakfast club and after school club in accordance with Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

A minimum of two members of staff will be present on site during the opening hours of the breakfast and after school clubs. In addition a member of school leadership will always be available, each day that the club is open and for its opening hours.

Each site will have access to a first aid policy and a qualified paediatric first aider. Settings will follow each school's administration of medicines polices where a member of staff is absent, the leadership team member will ensure replacement staff are found so adequate ratios of staff to children are maintained at all times.
