CFAT Conference - May 2017

23 May 2017 (by admin)

“It is our ambition to be a Trust of outstanding schools and that every pupil/students develops as a confident and competent person with the highest aspirations to be the best they possibly can be..”

In support of our ambitions and vision, in May, we delivered our first trust-wide conference for our academy senior leaders, trustees and local academy board members. Hosted at Wrightington Hotel, the weekend served as a chance for leaders and academy board members to reflect on the successes of 2016, as well as explore the vision and goals of the Trust moving forward. It also provided an opportunity for senior leaders to collaborate and explore our key areas for improvements. A session was also delivered by Michelle Foster (National Leader of Governance) for CFAT trustees and academy board members to review the trust governance structure. Chief Executive of the Trust, Sue Darbyshire, also outlining some of the key focuses for 2017/18 and paid tribute to the amazing results that have been achieved through Trust collaboration. As a Trust, we will continue to plan and arrange similar conferences as it was such a huge success. They serve as an excellent opportunity for all senior leaders and board members to collaborate and share their knowledge and expertise. We certainly can’t wait for the next conference! If you would like to explore the options of working with Community First Academy Trust further, please contact either Sue Darbyshire (Primary) or Debra Wood (Secondary) who will be pleased to arrange a confidential meeting with you.
